The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star boasts substantial social media audience

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns several international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa practically advised me to play and relax," she added.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions this year and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

Yet she can get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better person. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that her participation brings the sport to new audiences, especially reaching youth audiences.

Kai has substantial online presence and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
