Gas Detonation Claims Three Police Officers Amid Property Removal Procedure in Northern Italy

Three members of law enforcement were killed and at least 15 people were hurt in a seemingly intentional detonation from gas at a farmhouse in Italy's north.

The detonation took place as law enforcement and fire personnel entered the house close to the Verona region to execute an court-ordered eviction for three siblings aged in their 50s and 60s.

The three victims who died served in the Carabinieri military police.

Legal Proceedings

Two individuals got detained at the location and one more individual who ran away after the incident was located not long after. All three have been transported to medical facility.
