David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling young adult author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.
A representative for the publisher commented: "After careful consideration, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was made after an review of allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The company did not confirm the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams ranks among Britain's most successful children's authors, having sold more than 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
Several of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works in total, including a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

He first rose to fame on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
